Z (8 out of 10 ) A perfect combination of action, dialogue, and character development. The screenplay is thought provoking and still entertaining. It's very easy to be attracted to Bodhi's lifestyle and philosophy and you start to envy his fearlessness. You also start to empathize with Johnny, being stuck between his past commitments and the new friendships he has developed. The only downfall was the actual movie. Patrick Swayze delivered an amazing performance but Keanu Reeves was simply pathetic. The directing was also kind of "scattered".
